Después de lo cual, plantea algunas interrogantes para el análisis de dichas instituciones a nivel latinoamericano, en un contexto en que la noción de participación ciudadana –que surge de los movimientos sociales– ha sido apropiada por los actuales gobiernos de la región. Finalmente, se centra en el caso ecuatoriano, desde donde formula algunas preguntas y observaciones que invitan al desarrollo de nuevos análisis.
