En la comunidad de Wimbí, cantón San Lorenzo, al norte de la provincia de Esmeraldas, Ecuador, se producen formas de racismo que se expresan no solo en el despojo o la acumulación por desposesión de territorio ancestral (que incluye desalojo y formas de violencia como amedrentamiento de la población local), sino también en formas de sufrimiento ambiental que tienen efectos en la salud y los medios de subsistencia, y que más bien se deberían entender como una forma de eliminación étnica en territorio, que produce la muerte lenta de poblaciones afroecuatorianas mediante acciones e inacciones que comprometen su vida y salud. La lucha antirracista consiste en permanecer en territorio y en apelar al derecho de posesión ancestral como pueblo afroecuatoriano y a los derechos de la naturaleza de la Constitución de 2008. Na comunidade de Wimbí, no cantão de San Lorenzo, no norte da província de Esmeraldas, no Equador, são produzidas formas de racismo que se expressam não apenas na desapropriação ou acumulação por desapropriação de território ancestral (que inclui despejos e formas de violência como intimidação da população local), mas também em formas de sofrimento ambiental que têm efeitos sobre a saúde e meios de subsistência, e que devem ser entendidos como uma forma de eliminação étnica no território, que produz a morte lenta das populações afro-equatorianas através de ações e inações que comprometem sua vida e saúde. A luta contra o racismo consiste em permanecer em território e apelar ao direito de posse ancestral como povo afro-equatoriano e aos direitos da natureza da Constituição de 2008.
