Este trabajo aborda, desde una perspectiva sociosemiótica, las construcciones discursivas del Estado-nación y la ciudadanía en la prensa gráfica de Córdoba, durante la semana de la asunción de Néstor Kirchner al poder (23 al 30 de mayo de 2003). Lo que se intentará demostrares que, por tratarse precisamente de una condición de producción sine qua non, todos los medios gráficos, aun si se trata de periódicos locales e independientemente de sus propios con-tratos de lectura, se ven llevados a producir una o alguna construcción del Estado nación y la comunidad política, en las que, más allá de las pretensiones de objetividad, se encuentra incluido el enunciador institucional.
