In June of 2010, with the report of the Commission submitted, the Ecuadorian State began to take a series of actions that had as their objective to acknowledge the responsibility in the events that took place and to implement reparation measures, justice remedies and administrative reforms. This article aims to approach the way in which “making memory” of the investigated events by the CVE was used as a supporting argument for the definition and promulgation of reparation policies for victims and/or family members, as well as the way in which these public policies gained acceptance from the authorities called upon to enforce them. |

En mayo de 2007, el ex presidente Rafael Correa creó una Comisión de la Verdad para Ecuador (CVE) a la que encargó esclarecer los hechos de violencia política ocurridos en el país entre los años 1984-2007. En junio de 2010, con la entrega del informe final de la Comisión, el Estado ecuatoriano dio inicio a una serie de acciones con el fin de reconocer su responsabilidad en los hechos y emprender medidas de reparación, judicialización y reformas administrativas. Este artículo busca un acercamiento a la forma en que el “hacer memoria” de los hechos investigados por la CVE se convierte en sustento para la definición y promulgación de políticas de reparación a víctimas y/o sus familiares, así como a la forma en que esas políticas encuentran recepción tanto en las autoridades llamadas a impulsarlas como en sus beneficiarios. Em maio de 2007, o ex-presidente Rafael Correa criou uma Comissão da Verdade para o Equador (CVE) à qual encomendou esclarecer os eventos de violência política ocorridos no país entre os anos 1984-2007. Em junho de 2010, com a entrega do relatório final da Comissão, o Estado equatoriano iniciou uma série de ações para reconhecer sua responsabilidade nos fatos e empreender medidas de reparação, judicialização e reformas administrativas. Este artigo busca uma aproximação à forma em que o “fazer memória" dos fatos investigados pela CVE torna-se base para a definição e promulgação de políticas de reparação a vítimas e/ou seus familiares, bem como à maneira pela qual essas políticas encontram recepção tanto nas autoridades chamadas para promovê-las como nos seus beneficiários.
