Nevertheless, little has been done within this debate to consider the opinions of the students. This article presents information on those who are to benefit directly from the fruits of this policy and the way these young people understand and represent these quotas in action. Through this information, the complexity of Brazil´s social reality can be revealed. The aim of this article is therefore to propose that this debate should be approached from multiple perspectives that allow us to reflect on the problems that multicultural societies pose to classic theories of law and justice. |

Through this information, the complexity of Brazil´s social reality can be revealed. La implementación de políticas públicas basadas en criterios raciales para el acceso de estudiantes negros a las universidades en el Brasil divide a intelectuales respecto a la viabilidad de esta forma de acción afirmativa. Sin embargo, esta discusión ha considerado muy poco las perspectivas de los propios estudiantes. En este artículo se presentan datos sobre cómo los jóvenes, futuros beneficiarios del actual proyecto de ley, representan la política de cuotas y muestra cómo este tema revela la complejidad de la sociedad brasileña. Se sugiere por lo tanto, que esta cuestión sea abordada desde una perspectiva múltiple que nos permita reflexionar sobre los problemas que las sociedades multiculturales presentan a las teorías clásicas del derecho y la justicia.
