En este artículo se analizan las prácticas sonoras perceptibles en las marchas de protesta, desde un enfoque interaccional de la comunicación. Se plantea una propuesta interdisciplinar para el desarrollo metodológico de una etnografía sonora y se presentan los resultados de su aplicación en el contexto de las manifestaciones por la desaparición forzada de los 43 normalistas de Ayotzinapa, Guerrero, en México. El estudio cuestiona los modos sociales de sonar, como materialización acústica de los procesos comunicacionales en entornos sonoros específicos. Neste artigo se analisam as práticas sonoras perceptíveis nas passeatas de protesto a partir de uma abordagem da interação na comunicação. É feita uma proposta metodológica interdisciplinar para o desenvolvimento de uma etnografia sonora e apresentam-se os resultados de sua aplicação no contexto das manifestações pelo desaparecimento forçado dos 43 normalistas de Ayotzinapa, Guerrero, no México. O estudo questiona os modos sociais do sonar como materialização acústica dos processos de comunicação em ambientes sonoros específicos.
