This study analyzes the limits and possibilities of constitution of an anthropological global network, especially in the Latin American context. El proyecto de constitución de una antropología global está siendo objeto de varios estudios alrededor del mundo. La temática ha sido abordada sobre todo por las escuelas antropológicas que no están en los llamados “grandes centros”. Como “central” se asume la antropología producida en EE.UU., Inglaterra y Francia, es decir, lugares dónde la producción antropológica parece tener una repercusión mayor y que de una cierta manera dirigen los caminos de la disciplina -elaborando las teorías y métodos que son apropiados por aquellas escuelas que están fuera de esos “grandes centros”-. Este estudio analiza los límites y las posibilidades de la constitución de una red antropológica global, orientando su análisis básicamente al contexto latinoamericano.
