Sumario:The article analyzes the confluence of antipolitics and populismin the last electoral process in Ecuador. The neopopulism concept is discussed to describe new logics of intermediation between voters and politicians -that do not fit into the traditional concept of populism. The changes in the political parties, an effect of the emergency of the antipolitical phenomenon, are also analyzed.Finally,the article draws possible post-electoral scenarios,in the context of the demand of political reform that remains pending since April of 2005.
