Este artículo explora una institución angular para el sostenimiento en Bolivia de una ciudadanía diferenciadade tintes racistas, clasistas y patriarcales: el servicio militar obligatorio. A través del análisis del debate parlamentario que tuvo lugar en 2008, durante la primera mayoría del Movimiento al Socialismo,esta investigación revela la eficacia de la legislación estatal en la legitimación y naturalización de la dominación. Este artigo explora uma instituição angular para a sustentação em Bolívia de uma cidadania diferenciada, com viés racista, classista e patriarcal: o serviço militar obrigatório.
