Based on an analytical, descriptive, and qualitative methodology, whose primary source was a survey of 29 public officials belonging to four (out of five) State functions. The results show that technological innovations can be replicated and applied easily in other public entities with needs of solutions in monitoring and control of resources, access control, document, and accounting management. |

Durante la emergencia sanitaria del covid-19 en Ecuador, se introdujeron nuevas prácticas en la Administración pública para minimizar los problemas burocráticos y mejorar la gestión pública tradicional. El propósito de este artículo es analizar, desde una mirada posmoderna, el nuevo paradigma de la Administración pública, las nuevas tecnologías de información y comunicación (TIC) y las innovaciones en la gestión pública de Ecuador. La base metodológica es analítica, descriptiva y cualitativa; la fuente primaria consistió en una encuesta realizada a 29 funcionarios públicos pertenecientes a cuatro de las cinco funciones del Estado. Los resultados evidencian innovaciones tecnológicas que pueden replicarse en las entidades públicas con necesidades de seguimiento y control de recursos, control de acceso y gestión documental y contable.
