Sumario:The extractive model imposed on the southern countries at the hands of developed countries, it is opposed to the interests of local communities because they have autonomous development projects closely linked to their identity. In that sense, this work shows that the collective identity of the Marmateños focuses on small-scale mining; therefore, when the extractive reaches Marmato, the people resist in defense of collective identity that are violated . Consequently, this analysis argues that communities are largely responsible for resisting the extractive and building a just society through collective action.
