Estéticas en la casa de pique en Buenaventura-Colombia es un apartado de la tesis doctoral en Artes y ciencias del arte realizada en la Universidad de Toulouse en Francia, específicamente en la línea de investigación-creación, titulada Cuestiones de transparencia: una instauración escultórica a partir de la casa de pique en Colombia. Este es un apartado pertinente para reflexionar sobre cómo se articulan la investigación-creación artística y las estéticas de la transparencia, respecto a la educación cultural y la educación para la paz en Colombia. Una discusión que vincula procesos como la memoria histórica y las prácticas artísticas del campo escultórico, particularmente cómo estas últimas se conciben como dispositivo estético en premura de la construcción de paz y a la no-repetición de hechos violentos en la sociedad colombiana.
