| Sumario: | Aesthetics in the “pique house” in Buenaventura-Colombia is a section of the doctoral thesis in Arts and Art Sciences carried out at the University of Toulouse in France, specifically in the line of research-creation, entitled < transparency Matters: a sculptural installation about the pique house in Colombia. This is a reflection on how artistic research-creation and the aesthetics of transparency are articulated, with respect to cultural education and education for peace in Colombia. This research presents a discussion that links processes such as historical memory with artistic practices in the field of sculpture, particularly how this are conceived as an aesthetic device in the rush to build peace and the non-repetition of violent acts in Colombian society.
