Sumario:This article collects the pedagogical and investigative proposals since 2000 to 2021, in different training spaces at a national and international level, based on the relation between Human Rights Education (HRE) and art for promote peace cultures. According to this research results, it is necessary to understand what HRE is, what peace cultures are, what artistic education is and how they are combined in pedagogical initiatives that promote coexistence, citizen participation, democracy, among others similar values. According to this, the pedagogical proposals have three fundamental artistic expressions: performing arts, visual arts and audiovisual arts. It is evident that artistic production is a central element for the understanding of knowledge, collaborative work, conflict resolution and the strengthening of HRE as a basis for the promotion and consolidation of peace.
