| Sumario: | This article presents a reflection about the night social protest during the years 2020 to 2021 in Colombia based on the semiotic and spatial turn in the social sciences. In those years, different dynamics of contemporary social protest were shown through art, including the use of violence between protesters, government institutions and the parastate. The methodological process that was carried out for the consolidation of this text was a theoretical turns review, that means the analysis of the Colombian context, the social outbreak, the various expressions of manifestation and the anti-government actions by the State to deal with the mobilization.
