| Sumario: | In Colombia, many initiatives have been proposed for the eradication of crops for illicit use without bringing with it a definitive solution. The execution of the Comprehensive National Program for the Substitution of illicit crops since its implementation in 2019 in the municipalities of La Montañita and Puerto Rico in Caquetá is examined through descriptively analyzed surveys and semi-structured interviews coded with the free software QDA Miner lite®. In these, it was sought to understand the complexities of its implementation from the particularities of the agricultural technical equipment, the conditions of the Immediate Attention Plan, the agricultural development and productive chain giving elements to reflect on implementation approaches and the transformative potential of the agricultural accompaniment protected by the National Agricultural Innovation System.
