| Sumario: | Public spaces, especially public green spaces in cities, are privileged areas to promote social cohesion in any society. Through a literature review and through the analysis of various cases of societies in situations of postconflict, this article aims at understanding the importance of such spaces in postconflict contexts. Thus, through a novel approach, because the role of green spaces in post-conflict as a tool of social cohesion had not been contemplated until now, the purpose is to suggest strategies applicable to the new sociopolitical context which Colombia will face with the implementation of the peace agreements.
