Sumario:This article addresses how the process of desecuritization is constructed in the armed conflict in Colombia for peacebuilding between the government and the FARC-EP. The starting point is the previous process of securitization during the government of Alvaro Uribe, which exemplifies a military focus to solve the armed conflict through the reconfiguration of the FARC-EP threat to the Colombian state. The objective of this work is to describe the process of desecuritization starting from the identification of the actors that interact and negotiate politically the departure from the armed conflict, the discourses they hold, and the interests they express.
