La idea nace de un proyecto de investigación científica más amplio, cuyo eje central es el procesode urbanización en la localidad de Suba (Bogotá, D. C.) y la manera como se tejen las relacionessociales entre los primeros habitantes que han vivido esta transformación. Esta es una aproximaciónteórica y empírica de cómo podría tratarse este fenómeno social, en el que Suba se convierte en unterritorio que pasa de tener una población pequeña y rural a una población grande y vinculada conla vida de la ciudad. Resumo A ideia nasce concretamente de um projeto de pesquisa científica mais amplo, cujo eixo central é o processo de urbanização na localidade de Suba (Bogotá, D. C.) e a forma na qual se tecem as relações sociais entre os primeiros habitantes que têm vivido esta transformação.
