| description | This article characterizes the conditions of the informal land and housing supply during the first decade of the xxi century in Bogota, regarding magnitude and location of the informal urban growth (new occupations in the periphery and informal densification of consolidated areas), housing conditions in recent occupations and the characteristics of the land market. The situation of the last decade has been reconstructed based in aerial photography analysis, census data quantification and data analysis from planning and control public entities. Results suggest that due to the relative land scarcity in Bogotá, among other aspects, the informal market dynamics have experimented changes compared to previous decades, because the growth in consolidated urban areas becomes more important than the informal urbanization of the peripheries, but at the same time informality transcends the municipal perimeter to the neighboring municipalities. |

El artículo caracteriza las condiciones de la oferta informal de suelo y vivienda durante la primera década del siglo xxi en Bogotá, en cuanto a magnitud y localización del crecimiento de la urbanización informal (nuevos asentamientos en la periferia y densificación informal de áreas consolidadas), condiciones habitacionales de viviendas en ocupaciones recientes y las características de funcionamiento en términos de mercado del suelo. El panorama de la última década se reconstruyó con base en análisis de aerofotografías, cuantificación de datos censales y análisis de datos de las entidades de planificación y control a la urbanización informal. Los resultados sugieren que debido al agotamiento relativo del suelo en Bogotá, entre otros aspectos, las dinámicas a partir de las cuales opera el mercado informal han experimentado cambios frente a décadas anteriores, pues el crecimiento en densificación de asentamientos en la ciudad consolidada cobra mayor importancia relativa frente al desarrollo informal en la periferias, pero a la vez se intuye una expansión de la informalidad que trasciende el perímetro distrital. Este artigo caracteriza as condições da oferta informal de solo e moradia durante a primeira década do século xxi em Bogotá, quanto à magnitude e localização do crescimento da urbanização informal (novos assentamentos na periferia e adensamento informal de áreas consolidadas), condições habitacionais em ocupações recentes e as características de funcionamento em termos de mercado do solo. O panorama da última década se reconstruiu com base na análise de aerofotografias, quantificação de dados censitários e análise de dados das entidades de planejamento e controle da urbanização informal.
