Descripción
Sumario:Santo Domingo Savio is a neighborhood of The Comuna Polpular No. 1, located at the north east of Medellin (Antioquia, Colombia). It has been formed through illegal and marginal occupation of land; it is a territory with a lot of violence and poverty problems in which the urban policies have generated transport infrastructure, public space and equipments in the context of the city competitiveness. The territorial dynamics generated by the State intervention have transformed the Comuna into an attractive place for residents and visitors. The space has been recovered by the State, and has become not only a city laboratory, but also a model of renovation to copy. Under this scenery the exploration wants to observe the territoriality of different actors through the space and time.
