The results indicate the predominance of senses linked to information (big data) and robots (AI), coexisting with positively valued notions, such as knowledge, and with references to negatively valued social problems, such as unemployment and social control. |

Resumen. Este trabajo busca explorar las representaciones sociales en torno al big data y la inteligencia artificial. Para ello se realizó una encuesta con una técnica de asociación de palabras o evocaciones con estudiantes universitarios argentinos y graduados recientes de distintas ramas del conocimiento (N = 335 para big data y 255 para inteligencia artificial). Nos preguntamos por los sentidos a los que se asocian ambos fenómenos, la estructura de su representación, las similitudes y diferencias entre sí y con otros fenómenos, los posibles temas que se infieren, y los posibles posicionamientos diferenciales.
