Descripción
Sumario:This paper deals with the internal forced displacement (FID, known by its Spanish acronym as DIF) of mestizo rural families from the towns of Los Ciruelos, Hacienda de Dolores and La Laguna del ejido de los Guajes de Ayala, located in the municipality of Coyuca de Catalán, in the Tierra Caliente region of Guerrero. These families began to leave their homes in 2011 due to extreme violence. The displaced families were relocated in three locations in Guerrero in 2013, one in the Petatlán Sierra, and the other two in the municipality of Ayutla de los Libres, in the Costa Chica region. The information presented is part of the fieldwork that I carried out in their current settlements during June and July 2018. Its main objective is to bring to light the intersections of violence that are interwoven in relation to the FID of these three locations. Various interviews with displaced people revealed the complexity of the FID. One of the conclusions is that the continuum of violence is maintained through the interactions and relationships between diverse actors that fight for territorial control.
