| description | The profession of psychologist was instituted in Brazil having as professional duties, activities related to psychological diagnosis, professional guidance and selection, psycho-pedagogical guidance and solution of self-adjustment problems. This article examines the psychologist work inside the Brazilian National Policy of Social Assistance (PNAS), regarding the issue of networking. From the network vision and its implications of working with public policies, we discuss the psychologist insertion in that policy. As objects of analysis, we use the documents that parameterize the policy of Social Assistance in Brazil and those produced by the Federal Council of Psychology (CFP), regarding to the conceptualization, importance and role of the psychologist in networking. We concluded that, from this perspective, the psychologist work implies the transversalization of practices and knowledge leading to establish new ways of doing Psychology. |

A profissão de psicólogo foi instituida no Brasil, tendo como funções privativas ao profissional, as atividades de diagnóstico psicológico, orientação e seleção profissional, orientação psicopedagógica e solução de problemas de ajustamento pessoal. Em este artigo examina-se o trabalho do psicólogo na Política Nacional de Assistência Social (PNAS) brasileira, no que diz respeito à questão do trabalho em rede. A partir da visão de rede e suas implicações na atuação do trabalho nas políticas públicas, discute-se a inserção do psicólogo na referida política. Enquanto objetos de análise, são tomados os documentos que parametrizam a política de Assistência Social no Brasil e aqueles produzidos pelo o Conselho Federal de Psicologia (CFP) no que tange à conceituação, à importância e ao papel do psicólogo na articulação em rede. Conclui-se que, nessa perspectiva, o trabalho implica na transversalização de práticas e saberes que levam à construção de novos modos de fazer Psicologia.
