description The article derives from a review of the state of the art on identities, gender and borders that recovers the post-Marxist anthropological critic of four South American authors. I will start with the debate of Darcy Ribeiro and Cardoso de Oliveira about identities, continuing with Grimson’s discussions on borders and identifications in South America, and I will reach Segato, in her arguments about the elementary structures of gender violence. In the final section, I return and synthesize the central aspects of the critical turns discussed throughout the text, and I will establish some approximations for new analytical proposals.

2021-05-04 2022-03-22T15:04:23Z 2022-03-22T15:04:23Z info:eu-repo/semantics/article info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion http://revistas.ucn.cl/index.php/estudios-atacamenos/article/view/3009 10.22199/issn.0718-1043-2021-0004 http://biblioteca-repositorio.clacso.edu.ar/handle/CLACSO/80275 spa http://revistas.ucn.cl/index.php/estudios-atacamenos/article/view/3009/3736 http://revistas.ucn.cl/index.php/estudios-atacamenos/article/view/3009/3768 Derechos de autor 2021 Menara Guizardi http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 application/pdf application/epub+zip Universidad Católica del Norte, Instituto de Investigaciones Arqueológicas y Museo Estudios Atacameños; Vol. 67 (2021): Rolling pass; e3009 Estudios Atacameños (En línea); Vol. 67 (2021): Publicación continua; e3009 0718-1043 0716-0925 10.22199/issn.0718-1043-2021
