Con el avance del tiempo, la poesía del autor evoluciona ampliando la temática y el territorio descritos, y su mensaje se hace cada vez más explícito. Palabras clave: Música, ritmo, son, colonialismo Abstract: By reading or listening to the work Nicolas Guillén musical rhythm of his poetry is perceived. In this paper I analyze the three poetic arts of his poems from adolescence to maturity. In all of them the poet says that music is a better vehicle than words to express his concerns. Guillén identifies poetry with a guitar, appeals to her to deliver his message and seek solutions to the problems observed.
