La irrupción de las nuevas tecnologías en el campo pedagógico chileno y la instalación de una cultura que enfatiza la imagen y lo virtual, abren la posibilidad de una revolución en las formas de leer, apelando a su vez a generar cambios en los modos de aprendizaje y enseñanza. En este contexto, este artículo analizará, en un nivel crítico y teórico, los constructos sociales que repercuten en la configuración de nuevas formas de leer y aprender a partir de las nuevas tecnologías de la comunicación.
