Sumario:During the second half of the 19th century the leadership adopted the illustrated ethos of "due process", applying pertinent legislation and central supervising politics. Nevertheless, it was rubbing ideal this one with a contextual need of social control. The hypothesis of investigation is that the advance of the pro-guarantees paradigm was molded by the urgency of the modernizing leadership to control deviations. The experience it has to serve as instance of reflection on the development of the current procedural penal reform-pro-guarantees in beginning - and the functionality that it has supported with practices of social signing and disciplining.
