Este artículo reformula el primitivismo técnico de Horacio Quiroga como una forma de relación con la tecnología que trasciende la fascinación tecnofílica y el fatalismo tecnófobo. A través de un abordaje especulativo centrado en el traslado textual del primitivismo a través de la modernidad, el artículo explora una serie de escenas primarias que involucran directamente al escritor argentino. Identifica luego importantes resonancias con un ensayo paradigmático de Beatriz Sarlo, el cual recupera el primitivismo en pleno auge globalizador.
