El artículo examina cómo experiencias de trauma histórico han sido abordadas desde el cine documental por medio de la construcción del testimonio de un evento que muchas veces no cuenta con testigos ni evidencia directa, y que en ocasiones se hace inaccesible debido a la existencia de mecanismos psicológicos post-traumáticos. Se revisará cómo los documentales El Tigre Saltó y Mató, pero Morirá...
