El artículo estudia el cambio en el estilo de la presentación de los informativos en España, a partir de la incorporación de dos presentadores que resultaron catalizadores para el establecimiento de un nuevo estilo de presentar la información: Matías Prats y Lorenzo Milá. Para ello, se ha revisado la literatura académica, así como las hemerotecas de los diarios El País, La Vanguardia y ABC, y se ha accedido al fondo documental de TVE a través de la web de la compañía. Cada presentador pertenece, en el momento del estudio, a una cadena pública y otra cadena privada de televisión.
