Estudiamos el rol persuasivo de los gestos en la comunicación mediática, gracias a dos investigaciones empíricas que ilustran el rol activo del receptor. En primer lugar, mostramos cuál es el rol de la gestualidad de un hombre político en la asignación de valor manifestada por su auditorio. En un segundo estudio examinamos el rol de los gestos según el tipo de tratamiento cognitivo sistemático versus heurístico realizado por los sujetos.
