Hablamos de un repertorio de obras de estilos diversos como la aventura, drama y ciencia ficción, que puede ser comprendido bajo la categoría de novelas de quiosco, las cuales en su mayoría circularon por publicaciones norteamericanas de bajo costo a comienzos del siglo XX, y que en este caso se orquestan en conjunto con obras rusas y latinoamericanas de marcado carácter realista.
