Sumario:The search for alternative spaces of journalistic production has been increasing in Brazil. In this paper we detach from this universe projects engaged with no traditional press narratives in other words journalistic productions based on peripheral perspectives. To comprehend this phenomenon we bring information from the state of the art and from an empirical experience observed during the I Virada Comunicação organized by Rede Jornalistas das Periferias in 2017. This paper is part of a larger research that is still been developed.
