Este artigo aborda algumas questões epistemológicas da geografia cultural através da concepção fenomenológica, enfocando a percepção do espaço vivido. Iniciando com situação e pequena reflexão fenomenológica, destacando a intencionalidade na percepção, buscando reconhecer possibilidade metodológica na ciência geográfica centrada na percepção do mundo vivido. Estabelecendo algumas incursões fenomenológicas na geografia a qual através da experiência humana, individual e cultural, pode-se dar sentido ao espaço percebido. Seguindo padrão seqüencial iniciando pela sensação, percepção, estética do lugar.
