This reading of the urban space aims at identifying man s cultural, social and emotional values consolidated by experience and existence. Under this perspective, we have investigated the perception process of space as a lived space in order to understand the world experienced by the residents of this marginalized community from an interdisciplinary point of view, instigating urban planners towards a deeper reflection and a maturation of their own concepts when confronted with the difficulties and failures in the processes of urban intervention in irregular occupations. |
