Sumario:By realizing the great concern with present and future relationship between society and nature, this work presents a model to grow rice in order not to degrade the environment, what contributes to the sustainable development. Following this line of thinking, this study shows the benefits of cropping systems reported. Due to such concerns, two questions outcome: the first one is concerned with the inappropriate use of irrigation in rice cultivation and the second one emphasizes the importance of the cultural model assessing the main meadow of the municipality, Porto da Folha/SE as an Area Permanent Preservation (APP), for example.
