The work points out that despite the evolution in policies regarding inclusion, there is still a lot to do for complete inclusion to occur. O processo de inclusão de pessoas com necessidades especiais, sobretudo, no ensino superior, ainda se encontra marcado por indefinições, apesar de muitas instituições se mostrarem receptivas à chegada dessas pessoas. O objetivo deste artigo, é analisar os desafios e perspectivas na inclusão de pessoas com deficiências no Ensino Superior brasileiro. Tratou-se de um estudo bibliográfico, fazendo dessa maneira o uso da pesquisa qualitativa, trazendo o método história de vida.
