All the teachers were contacted and accepted to participate in our study, answering a questionnaire with closed questions and multiple choice. Regarding the teachers who work in the ESA, there is a great experience in the area of ??education of all of them, although most of it has been done in regular primary education. Because of the proximity to the current retirement time, it is important that municipal management is already beginning to worry about new professionals who will replace the current teachers in case of retirement. Regarding the physical structure, it is observed that some points still need to be improved, with special attention the physical adaptations of bathroom, ramp etc. |

Regarding the physical structure, it is observed that some points still need to be improved, with special attention the physical adaptations of bathroom, ramp etc. O objetivo do presente artigo foi analisar o Atendimento Educacional Especializado oferecido pelo município de Serrolândia/BA. De acordo com informações obtidas junto a secretaria de educação no ano de 2018, o AEE possui trinta alunos matriculados e quatro professoras que compõem o quadro de docentes. Dos trinta alunos, dezoito são do sexo masculino e doze do sexo feminino, com idades variando entre 4 a 34 anos e 23 deles possuem diagnóstico médico. Todas as docentes foram contactadas e aceitaram participar do nosso estudo, respondendo um questionário com perguntas fechadas e múltipla escolha. Sobre as professoras que atuam no AEE, nota-se uma grande experiencia na área de educação de todas elas, apesar da maior parte ter sido feito no ensino básico regular. Por conta da proximidade com o tempo de aposentadoria vigente, é importante que a gestão municipal já comece a se preocupar com novos profissionais que substituirão as atuais professoras em caso de aposentadoria.
