Este estudo objetiva analisar o desenvolvimento da carreira de uma atleta com deficiência física praticante de voleibol convencional e o voleibol sentado. Vale a pena levar em consideração que a atividade física para os deficientes físicos possibilita ganhos físicos, motores, psicológicos e sociais, como aperfeiçoamento das capacidades motoras, diminuição de riscos para doenças cardiovasculares, melhora na autoestima e autoimagem, estímulo à socialização, trabalho em equipe e cooperação.
