description | Globalization has given rise, in the 21st century, to a multidimensional crisis, which affects educational public policies, the functions of the university, as a knowledge-producing center, and, consequently, the academic community. Based on this context, this article intended to identify the concepts of internationalization of Higher Education in the National Education Plan 2014-2024, in light of the concept of a university historically implemented in Brazil, as well as the creation of the Federal University of Latin American Integration . For this, the research took place through the documental content and also through the literature review produced in this century. Through this study, it was found that the concept of international integration and academic mobility are the main perspective of internationalization. Thus, the survival of universities, in the midst of the global crisis, depends on promoting cosmopolitan teaching work and a new university model, based on interculturality and international integration. |

La globalización suscitó, en el siglo XXI, una crisis pluridimensional, la cual afecta afecta las políticas educativas, las funciones de la universidad, mientras centro productor del conocimiento, y, por lo tanto, la comunidad académica. Con base en ese contexto, se pretendió en este artículo identificar los conceptos de internacionalización de la Educación Superior en el Plan Nacional de Educación 2014- 2024, a la luz de la concepción de universidad históricamente implantada en Brasil, así como la creación de la Universidad Federal de Integración Latinoamericana. Para eso, la investigación se dio por el tenor documental y también por la revisión de literatura producida en este siglo. Se constato, por medio de este estudio, que lo concepto de la integrácion internacional y la mobilidad académica son la principal perspectiva de internacionalización. La supervivencia de las universidades, en medio de la crisis global, depende de promover una labor docente cosmopolita y un nuevo modelo universitario, basado en la interculturalidad y la integración internacional. A globalização suscitou, no século XXI, uma crise pluridimensional, a qual afeta as políticas públicas educacionais, as funções da universidade, enquanto centro produtor do conhecimento, e, por conseguinte, a comunidade acadêmica. Com base nesse contexto, pretendeu-se neste artigo identificar os conceitos de internacionalização da Educação Superior no Plano Nacional de Educação 2014-2024, à luz da concepção de universidade historicamente implantada no Brasil, assim como a criação da Universidade Federal de Integração Latino-Americana. Para isso, a pesquisa se deu pelo teor documental e também pela revisão de literatura produzida neste século. Constatou-se, por meio deste estudo, que o conceito da integração internacional e a mobilidade acadêmica são a principal perspectiva de internacionalização.
