description Created in 1999 by professor Tizuko Kishimoto, the Education and Toy Museum (MEB) has great importance in the history of the Faculty of Education (FEUSP), constituting a space of great relevance for childhood, toys and games. In this article, we will present an overview of the performance of the museum's new coordination since 2014, demarcating the expansion of its scope by reaffirming itself as an education museum in partnership with other laboratories and sectors of FEUSP and encompassing Education in Museums as a new approach. We will address the main challenges and potential of a university museum in defining its identity and in the management of actions in teaching, research and extension, developed in projects about history, the constitution of the collection, educational activities and communication in MEB.

En este artículo presentaremos un panorama del desempeño de la nueva coordinación del museo desde 2014, delimitando la ampliación de su alcance al reafirmarse como museo de la educación en alianza con otros laboratorios y sectores de la FEUSP y abarcando la Educación en Museos como un nuevo enfoque. Abordaremos los principales retos y potencialidades de un museo universitario en la definición de su identidad y en la gestión de acciones de docencia, investigación y extensión, desarrolladas en proyectos sobre historia, constitución de la colección, actividades educativas y de comunicación en el MEB. Créé en 1999 par la professeure Tizuko Kishimoto, le Musée de l'éducation et du jouet (MEB) a une grande importance dans l'histoire de la Faculté d'éducation (FEUSP), constituant un espace d'une grande importance pour l'enfance, les jouets et les jeux. Dans cet article, nous présenterons un aperçu des performances de la nouvelle coordination du musée depuis 2014, délimitant l'élargissement de son champ d'action en se réaffirmant comme musée de l'éducation en partenariat avec d'autres laboratoires et secteurs de la FEUSP et englobant l'Éducation dans les musées comme une nouvelle approche. Nous aborderons les principaux enjeux et potentiels d'un musée universitaire dans la définition de son identité et dans la gestion des actions d'enseignement, de recherche et de vulgarisation, développées dans des projets d'histoire, de constitution de collection, d'activités pédagogiques et de communication au sein du MEB.
