In addition, it is deeply related to the reality of all students, since it is necessary to consume to survive and consumption generates waste. The methodology followed for the elaboration was the Three Pedagogical Moments, with the use of strategies such as Environment, Science, Technology, Society (ESTS) and the Dialogued Expository Class, among others. The sequence can awaken in students and teachers empathy for the environment and for environmental problems, stimulating conscious consumption, collectivism and a sustainable life. |

O estudo apresenta o planejamento de uma sequência didática, proposta para a disciplina Didática das Ciências, sobre o ensino de Educação Ambiental, utilizando como tema gerador a problemática do consumismo e da geração de resíduos sólidos urbanos. A temática apresenta grande relevância socioambiental, pois grande parte dos problemas ambientais e sociais estão intimamente relacionados ao consumo exacerbado e, consequentemente, a geração de resíduos. Além disso, a mesma está profundamente relacionada com a realidade de todos os alunos, já que é necessário consumir para sobreviver e consumo gera resíduo. A metodologia seguida para a elaboração foi a dos Três Momentos Pedagógicos, com a utilização de estratégias como a Ciência, Tecnologia, Sociedade, Ambiente (CTSA) e a Aula Expositiva Dialogada, entre outras.
