When it’s applied as a teaching object, through the authorial process, assumes high relevance for the assimilation and learning of content. However, the paper presents a critical and investigative analysis of the structural method of classes on which schools and universities are based, questioning the efficiency of the current system. The data presented pointed to a flawed performance of graduates, attributed to Higher Education that, by not stimulating the authorial process in its undergraduates, it makes the student a victim of a repetitive and decorated process, underestimating and even wasting knowledge in classrooms.

O artigo expõe a evolução do conhecimento científico, discutindo como a sociedade vem utilizando a ciência para compreender a realidade a sua volta assim com a si própria por meio do método científico. Ao ser aplicado como objeto de ensino, por meio do processo autoral, assume alta relevância para a assimilação e aprendizagem de conteúdo. Em contrapartida, apresenta uma análise crítica e investigativa do método estrutural de aulas sob o qual as escolas e universidades estão embasadas, questionando a eficiência do sistema atual.
