O trabalho apresenta representações da educação escolar presentes no romance “Em busca do tempo perdido”, de Marcel Proust, e identifica nelas traços da escolarização do autor. Os excertos que fazem menção à escola ou a saberes matemáticos são extraídos a partir de edição brasileira e de versão francesa da obra, cotejados com documentos escolares, e analisados à luz do conceito de aculturação escolar, tal como é descrito por Chervel.
