Therefore, this paper aims to highlight the perceptions of Philosophy teachers regarding their performance in the profession. The subjects were 208 Philosophy professors from the state of Paraná, Brazil, who answered to a questionnaire. The methodology used for data analysis was the Textual Discourse Analysis (ATD), and for the categorization of responses the Atlas Ti software was used. The results indicate that the majority of subjects feel fulfilled, despite the devaluation, and the family needs to have a partnership in the teaching and learning processes.

La carrera docente se ha visto devaluada, especialmente por las políticas neoliberales que tienden a banalizar la profesión docente. Así, este artículo tuvo como objetivo resaltar las percepciones de los profesores de Filosofía sobre su logro en el ejercicio de su profesión. Los sujetos fueron 208 profesores de Filosofía de Paraná que respondieron un cuestionario. La metodología utilizada para el análisis de datos fue el Análisis Textual Discursivo (ATD), y para la categorización de las respuestas se utilizó el software Atlas Ti. Los resultados muestran que la mayoría de los sujetos se sienten realizados, a pesar de la devaluación, y que la familia necesita ser pareja en los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje. A carreira docente tem sido desvalorizada, sobretudo por políticas neoliberais que tendem a banalizar a profissão do professor. Assim, este artigo teve como objetivo evidenciar as percepções de professores de Filosofia a respeito de sua realização no exercício da profissão. Os sujeitos foram 208 professores de Filosofia do Paraná que responderam a um questionário. A metodologia utilizada para a análise de dados foi a Análise Textual Discursiva (ATD), e, para a categorização das respostas, usou-se o software Atlas Ti.
