Sumario:Through reflections on the possibilities of meeting between non-school and school education, more specifically regard to educational processes, it sought to think about the educational contributions of multicultural social movements, based on a Freirean methodology, for the construction of knowledge in school. It was concluded that through this methodology, considering the contributions of social movements, it is possible to think about educational processes that are based on social practice, on the collective construction of knowledge and on overcoming cultural universalism.
