Sumario: | This work aims to discuss women's representation and the historical path of women seeking emancipation through instruction and writing. This discussion is part of the process of expansion of sources and historical objects. This work was based on the Cultural History approach and it had as a fundamental theoretical reference the historian Roger Chartier. It also aims to understand how the representations contributed to the construction of women's social roles, as well as to understand their influence in the maintenance/ transgression of these roles. |
