El afecto y el cuidar son importantes cimientos en la educación infantil y esenciales para el desarrollo de niños con o sin discapacidad. Así, la formación de los profesionales de ese período inicial de la Educación Básica necesita ser un tema en pauta y foco de discusión. Propiciar esa reflexión en la escuela puede favorecer la inclusión de niños desde las fases iniciales de la vida escolar. Este texto busca discutir y proponer reflexiones sobre acciones que pueden ser realizadas en el contexto escolar de la Educación Infantil para favorecer un ambiente de aprendizaje más humanizado. O afeto e o cuidar são importantes alicerces na educação infantil e essenciais para o desenvolvimento de crianças com ou sem deficiência. Assim, a formação dos profissionais desse período inicial da Educação Básica precisa ser um tema em pauta e foco de discussão. Propiciar essa reflexão na escola pode favorecer a inclusão de crianças desde as fases iniciais da vida escolar.
