description The text intends to make approximations between the thoughts of Paulo Freire and Álvaro Vieira Pinto. From a critical descriptive study, the intention is to list assumptions that demonstrate, in the authors' conception, the making of a more humane and liberating popular education. Education that does not accept the fatalism of the precariousness of the human being exposed to suffering, but understands a radical action of transformation from a dialectic relation between conditioning and freedom. Reflected on the frontier, not between being and nothing, but between being and being more, when from free acts to think the limit-situations it is possible to constitute, on the plane of history, the limit-acts. The research has as its starting point the dialectical-dialogical method of Paulo Freire.

The research has as its starting point the dialectical-dialogical method of Paulo Freire. El texto está destinado a buscar semejanzas entre el pensamiento de Paulo Freire y Álvaro Vieira Pinto. A partir de un estudio descriptivo crítico ha tenido la intención de establecer hipótesis, que demuestran la idea de los autores, por lo que una educación popular más humano y liberador. La educación que no acepta el fatalismo de la precariedad del ser humano expuesto al sufrimiento, sino que comprende una acción radical de transformación de una relación dialéctica entre las limitaciones y la libertad. se refleja en la frontera, no entre el ser y la nada, pero entre ser y estar más cuando desde los actos libres para pensar las situación límites pueden estar en el plano de la historia actos límites. La investigación toma como punto de partida el método dialéctico-dialógica de Paulo Freire. O texto possui como objetivo tecer aproximações entre os pensamentos de Paulo Freire e Álvaro Vieira Pinto. A partir de um estudo descritivo crítico tem-se como intenção elencar pressupostos que demonstrem, na concepção dos autores, o fazer de uma educação popular mais humana e libertadora. Educação que não aceita o fatalismo da precariedade do ser humano exposto ao sofrimento, mas compreende uma ação radical de transformação a partir de uma relação dialética entre condicionamentos e liberdade. Problematiza-se a fronteira, não entre o ser e o nada, mas entre o ser e o ‘ser mais’, quando a partir de atos livres para pensar as ‘situções-limites’ é possível constituir, no plano da história, os ‘atos-limites’.
